Having played with the Goons and KGB in previous MMO's, we felt confident in our decision to join the Coalition of Chill. We're guaranteed to have the most fun and be a part of some the servers largest siege battles and funniest antics.
As a member of the Coalition of Chill, Dog Pound has been designated as the Ork/Mahirim Diplomats. You can expect us to play a major role in the development of our faction and the destruction of the Savage Alliance.
In the meantime, we would like to thank the Duchy of Wessex for its kind donation towards the Coalitions cause.

Tuesday, March 10, 2009 : Clan Status, PvP and Linux Nerds
We're finally getting situated on the server as more and more of us are beginning to get copies of Darkfall. The whole staggered release fiasco really put a hold on our plans, and we've decided against building a city on the EU1 server.
Clan Dog Pound plans to participate as part of an alliance to a group of old Shadowbane friends during our time on EU1. Since AV has promised free server transfers to North American servers, we plan on taking advantage of it and having a fresh start. In the meantime, we've actively been supporting and building one of the larger cities currently in Darkfall. We've also participated in several skirmish PvP battles and will participate in as many sieges as possible, before transferring.
Recruitment: We're still actively recruiting quality players that have the desire to PvP with us.
We're selective, we want to remain small, but large enough to defend ourselves in any major conflict.
For the time being, we're granting membership status to any former guildies that were core members in previous MMO's with us. (Shadowbane, EQ, Eve Online, Warhammer, WoW etc)
Requirements Ventrilo 18+ age Mature, experienced MMO or FPS players are preferred.
On another note, for all your Linux nerds out there....

We're really pushing Direct X 9 support pretty far along, and getting ready to move on Direct X 10. ... In addition to our normal work of broadening and deepening our application support in Wine, we're going to try to dramatically improve the CrossOver GUI itself. First, the Linux version will get a fresh new look. But both versions are going to get an interface that we hope will bring the power of the Compatibility Center right into the installation view. The key idea is to make it easier to distill the gathered wisdom on unsupported applications and make it far easier to use.'

Thursday, February 26, 2009 : Darkfall Released!! Sorta........

We are an experienced, hardcore group of gamers that have been around since the Ultima Online and Quake days.
We've played several MMO's with great success, which include the following titles.
- Ultima Online - Everquest - Eve Online - Shadowbane - Star Wars Galaxies - World of Warcraft
Experienced MMO players may not recognize our names, because this is the first time we are using it in the MMO genre. Clan Dog Pound has been around since 1996 and was the name most of us played under during the our Quake World days. At one time we were regarded as the top North American Quake CTF clan and won several of the FPS genres first competitive tournaments. At one point going undefeated in match play for a span of nearly 4 years, and winning three out of four ICR (Invite Capture Ring) Tournaments. Several of our core members later competed in international tournaments, and to this day are still considered some of the best players to have ever played the game.

Some of our members also were employed as mercs in the Eve Online corporation ( Minmatar Mafia ) and participated in successful PvP guilds in Shadowbane under the name Commanders Reborn.
As you can see, we've got loads of proven MMO experience and we're prepared to make a MAJOR impact in Darkfall Online.
